Well, let's not get to hasty and say we're selling off our first-borns just yet.
First off, and I don't know if this is simply an error in the JSON, but the process rate of the Mind Swell buff is only 30%, not 70%.
Second of all, since I'm new at JSONing stuff, I'm still trying to figure out how they do the calculations to arrive at the modifier percentage. Obviously Foresight has a 100% modifier, thanks to looking at the wiki, but does anybody know how to take the data below and arrive at percentage?
Here's the comparison for Foresight and Mind Swell (bolded numbers are under the name SkillFuncArg, whatever that means and the last two numbers are the proc rates, both minimum and maximum):
Mind Swell Raise WIS and DEF of ALL squadmates 0 0.4 2 3 0 11 30
Foresight Raise WIS of self and adjacent squadmates. 0 1 3 0 0 12 70
The .4 number is a little worrisome, but let's wait and see what it comes out to when a mod who knows what they're doing here comes along, lol.
SkillFuncArg1 is power. So it's 40% of it's WIS (If I remember it right from the BB days). Which is totally understandable, or else the Hellcats would be screwed.

Duh, that would make sense. In fact, looking at Aunty Grace's Slowing Force skill it shows it as .3, or 30%.
So we're dealing with a 40% modifier + a potential 30% proc rate.
Still ready to sell the farm, lol?
I do like the second random hit skill though. Just wish the modifier was a little higher, along with the proc %.

How does the new EP1/EP2 merc Nocturnal apprentice fit in this event? Or is it just some new pact merc? Aaaand could you please double check the L's agi? Thanks for great job!

I'm guessing he's a pact merc, as he's an EP2. Stats aren't very impressive, at least what's listed in the JSON anyway.
HP -8614 ATK - 8535 DEF - 7695 WIS - 9249 AGI - 7019
Skill is a modified version of Silent Treatment. Deal WIS damage, and silence one enemy. 100% modifier, 30% proc rate.

The artwork looks like a cardholder from some other game, so I'm guessing he's not done yet.
And to answer your question about the AGI stats, those are the final evolved stats listed in legendslayer's online JSON parsing tool, which we've discussed in another thread aren't accurate, but not far off either.
Agreed. The bot event, combined, hopefully with an honest proc rate could be buying Dakota some time in my book for them to make some reevaluations about how they're doing things.
But enough about that. Let's talk turkey here.
Which bots here are going to be the game-changers?

Any chance Wasp II-B will end up being a good cheap buffer? Or are their stats too low to make a real difference? I missed out on getting a Blue Bot during the Mammoth event and I don't want to make the same mistake twice.

Vulture IV-C combined with Helio Assassin, gotta try that Too bad they would prolly need a Hellcat between them to nullify enemy attacks and buffs. And still agi attacks would kill you. And as last PvP showed, you can't really hope that you are able to choose an opponent without agi mercs. Fista, Tideslayer, Hanzo, Nox, Jackson, etc. So all in all, if you face L teams, then none of the vultures seem appealing.

Listen to us?? lol That is precious! I think Dakota is just bout to lower the 2nd of a 1 2 combo designed to complete the evolution of this game into a fully operational money making battle station
Part 1 - the last pvp event, special skill: Spend for your life - deal heavy damage to all existing player ammo supplies and neutralize effectivness of natural regen gameplay style, force purchase of ammo from store , proc rate : 100%
Step 2 the new raid event, special skill: The President Snow(Hunger Games) - "Hope, it is the only thing stronger than fear. A little hope is effective, alot of hope is dangerous. " Dangle some decent lookin food in front of the starved masses and then watch as the store is where the real raiding of this even takes place in their attempt to get at that food. proc rate 100%
The introduction of these savages just bought a 1st class ticket for the cxb 2000's straight to nerftown IMO. It accomplishes several things in one sweet art looking package. Most of the offerings for many a moon it seems have sucked....big time, Their skills are shit, they proc like shit, hell they even look like shit. So if you are forced to eat shit long enough even just peanut butter on saltines which is what we are getting here sounds almost downright delicious. At the end of the day though we'll still be left with that shitty feeling inside and heres why....
iphone and thailand missed the CXB series which in many ways were way over powered for event savages and likely the only thing keeping that tide at bay against the old school loyalist android players since money could only buy them from those of us willing to part with them, severely limiting balance in an already unbalanced player base. By offereing this new smattering which instead of having the minis just duplicate their stronger counterparts in less power as was the case with cxb's, they offerd brand new skills with the vultures AND had the minis cover some of the cxb skills in some form. However all offered at much more reasonable power and proc lvls. So they can now pull the plug on the cxb's through nerfing at a highly accelerated rate, trust. Plus all those cxb hungry, money flush iphoners and Thai will be clamouring to buy event pacts for any chance to get the new bot du jour, trust x's 2. And the game store; unlike players who wont trade will be more than willing to give give give, trust ad naseum.
Meanwhile back at the ranch those of us who are old hands here on the frontier will feel like we finally got through to that great programmer we've been praying so hard to in the soft glow of our android device all these weeks, and we'll cling to that through god knows how many more servings of event shit that are certain to follow this til we realize that thi event wasnt just a fluke, it was all part of the master plan, and even then we'll end up excusing it by teling ourselves things like " it was gameviews fault for introducing so many decent fams so early on that that is what we had gotten used to" or some other such rubbish to justify why we are still sitting here with out faces perpetually jammed into the front of a 5 inch screen stabbing at pixelated buttons over and over again while we fork over dollar after begruding dollar all in vain hopes of one day returning to the former glory the game once had for us. First of all the law of diminishing returns tells us it never will so theres that. Secondly there's that old saying in Vegas that goes "Sooner or later the house always wins", and it does. Stay here long enough and all you'll end up with is a depleted bank account and hopefully (theres that word again) some good memories of the feeling of the thrill of the hunt or the achievement of a new fully evolved and crystaled team of god tier fams. But expecting anything else is folly especially when the playing field is completely controlled an manipulated by an unseen entity that is driven by profit, period.
According to Oxford the definition of a game in the form of a noun is: a form of play or sport, especially a competitive one played according to rules and decided by skill, strength, or luck.
Like when used here: "Fatal Frontier is the best game on the app market."
However the definition of a game when used as a verb is: [with object] manipulate (a situation), typically in a way that is unfair or unscrupulous
Such as "Dakota has become masterful in gaming the apps they offer on the market."
Food for thought.

I get the sneaking suspicion though that after this last PVP debacle that they will change it so L squads aren't encountered again until the high 20's. With all the blowback they received through this forum and social media (Facebook page, Google Play), they'd be stupid not to.
I'm more interested in seeing which of these bots (if any) will be the new black bot, strictly for raid event only. Let's shelf PVP and tower for now.

The thing is though I don't see how any of these Vulture bots will replace the black bots. Look at their skills and stats. None of them are six hitters. None deal AGI-damage (in fact, they're all ATK and WIS-based bots who don't hit but more than 4 times and deal regular damage as opposed to the very heavy damage a black bot does.
I'm gonna drink the Kool-Aid here and say that they're actually pretty well balanced savages that will get you some mileage once the raid event ends. Don't get me wrong, they're no black or blue bots, but those were a huge mistake in the first place that Dakota inherited from Gameview, along with Mista Fista; mistakes that we, as older players, have cashed in on big time. The last PVP event, I think, was probably a Dakota temper tantrum at the fact that so many of us are getting L's without spending any money because of mercs like black and blue bot.
So no, I still think the established FF'ers still have some life in us yet to compete against the emerging markets of iPhonia and Thailand.

Nothing that isn't to be expected lol I mean look at it at any scale and all commerce is run by these concepts.
There's a difference between playing and being played in my eyes, and I like to play. That's why I stopped putting any $into the game once they started offering 2x L's
You also have to consider theyr attempting to regain income lost thru exploiters and other players that can offer their product at 2/3 or even 1/2 their price

Lol I think we all realized long ago the FDA is run by pesticide monster Monsanto. Banks are buying up any property they can. Anheyuser-busch, Philip morris, and rj Reynolds own congress (why pots illegal cuz they want u to drink instead, then when drunk people smoke more cigarettes. Duh) Cola companies share recipes McDonald's has playplaces for a reason and its not for fun Eco friendly really means more $ for same poisenous crap All cars share major structural schematics Blah Blahblah
Why would we expect any less from game developers???
It's ignorant to think theyr putting this media out for anything less than to turn a profit. If you were a salesman wouldn't it be in your best interest to put all the makeup u can on the pig ur selling so that when it takes a shit on ur customers rug during the advertisement, your mark/target don't consider it a minus?
Comon people I think were all a little smarter than to blame developers for doing what they do to get paid. It's our choice to pay, our choice to play, and our choice not to. You can't place responsibility for the consequences that follow any choice that YOU make

By time all the Raid Fams fit together. The first Frailpool in exchange. Will Canis be any good for Raid?
I know it's not technically a Haiku, but this post reads like a Haiku. I suppose it all depends on whether or not Bulwark's skill works against Raid Bosses, if it does I imagine it would be insanely useful, doubly so if it stops your other mercs from getting hit.
