| In the past some events have started immediately following the conclusion of the preceding event and some have taken as long as a week or so. Might be a due to event not being ready, a feature update / patch, or them just not paying attention. Maybe our resident representative can speak to the delay? FatalFrontierDev, got any insight or feedback on what's the story? We shall see ... | |

| Usually a delay between events that is this long indicates an incoming update. I'm hoping for a tasty update that gets rid of Gene-Bound res. Hey, a guy can dream right? | |

| This would have been a fine time for FatalFrontierDev to jump in and make a connection with the players by simply letting us know whats going on, instead he dropped the ball.
No doubt as soon as they have a way to make some cash, a new merc, new event, etc., he'll be back posting a new thread advertising it. Can you say one way street?

Guys, I hear ya', but I'll step in for a sec and defend him (a little bit). Having written software, and managed software projects (deployment, implementation, integration, etc), if the person behind the credential "FatalFrontierDev" is actually one of the developers for Dakota Interactive, then the time before major releases (or even minor ones) is hectic, frantic, frenetic, and in general out of control. And that's his/her paying job. Can we really expect someone with that set of duties to actually update the customers (a.k.a. us)? In all my past successful (and even less than successful) projects, the communication between the developers and customers have been through an intermediary - a Product Owner. With that said, I'll repeat my earlier offer to step into this gap and be the Product Owner for the company and be the liaison between the gaming community and the back office, "making sausage", internal dynamics. Yes, no, maybe so?

| He's the one that came here and told us that he was going to be the communication gap between Dickota and the player base.
I don't think it's remotely unreasonable to call him out on this.
And who doesnt have 5 minutes over the course of 7 (now 8, days) for a simple textual update?

- Hello All,
I am making this account to remove the communication gap for the FF members. I am new to this forum and would be checking it regularly for your feedbacks. Currently I am sensing a loads of heat. But lets make FF a better place for all of us Just sayin'

| Very valid points ^^^.
I was just giving the Dakota folks a small window to wriggle through, if they were even remotely interested.
And the updates could even be something like what shows up in the release notes ... if they are coded correctly (like javadocs or any of a slew of documentation solutions on the market).

| I guess it is still Sunday in parts of the world right now. I've been checking since I woke up this morning (much to my repeated disappointment). | |
