Does no1 here use a messaging app like line or kik?

These are very good tools to use for trading. Allows u to have instant contact with seller/buyer, none of this waiting 1-2 hour or 2-3 days for a reply. I know personally I prefer to be on a computer to get on the forum cause using the forum on my phone is a bit of a pain in the ass. I'm not always near a computer to check/reply/post when I am trying to work out a deal. In contrast kik/line are readily available as they are installed on the same device as FF. Additionally being able to send ss of mercs is a bit better that having to type the stats. For those of us that are a part of teams/clans/families it makes communicating much much easier that using the in game chat. In other games similar to this one ppl could stalk your board and post identical trades to try and snipe urs. I'm not saying you all need to go get these apps but, at least give them a try it may just make your gaming/trading life a little easier.

I also use KIK Messenger but the others don't seem to be so enthousiastic about these apps.

My family uses line app. We plan all events this way and have a chat with everyone on team. Its makes this game so much more fun, allows us to communicate in real time.

I've used kik, line, and palringo (my personal favorite) for other games like this. I find these apps more useful when there is a larger community. If someone were to set up and manage a "Trade Room" on one of these services then I might be interested.

Personally, I'm not certain enough trading happens to warrant that, but maybe it would encourage it.

Well I set up a " FF Trading Room" on Line. If anyone is interested in joining in pm me or leave your Line id here and I'll add you. LINE is great for clans/teams...I know it's huge with the GIJoe set...I will reinstall, cannot remember if I setup a profile before or not....

Well folks the chat is turning out good so far. There are 17 members so far. Shoot me a pm and ill add u shooting to have 30 members by the end of the day.

Also when you are setting up ur line u will set a display name that can be changed at any time, u also need to set ur public id which is a one shot deal and turn it on so u will be searchable. There are a few ppl who have pm'd me but I can't search them cause they need to set their public id. I have responded and sent them my line id search for me and I will add u. Thnx

Jo is all set I found him. Any1 else interested in joining us? As of now there are 28 ppl in the chat.

It has helped speed up the rate at which trades take place and makes it a little easier to chit chat about events and strategies. Several of the veteran players have really been giving some good advice.

So if you think u aren't ready to do a bunch of trading but would like to ask a few questions about the game u should check it out. What's the worst that could happen? U don't like it, u just leave the chat room. As simple as that.

It's all well n good, but I think there needs to be separate threads for [FF trades] vs [FF chat], but i'm snobbish like that...

I agree, jodaho. I hate scrolling through all the 500+ lines of chit chat in the morning hoping to pick out the trades.

Yeah I had to turn the notification off but if I put up a trade it would be nice to have it on so I could listen for an offer. But as is just to much gibberish that could be in another room.

So we have now set up a second chat room for ur viewing pleasure   

There is now the "FF Trading Room" and "FF Strategy Talk"

If I failed to add any1 to the Strategy chat that is in the Trading Room hmu or any of the others and we will be sure to add u.
