new player

Hi everyone!  Just started playing for real lately I am level 70ish and have been kind of messing around, but now and going through the levels to get my 5 man team.  Looking for some allies and some help on what to do with what i currently have.

right now this is my line up:

Ultra Mutant 3* 99/99
Power Lancer 3* 89
Horde Wall v2 4* 99
MaxSec Psycho v2 4* 70/70
Crdnl Lieu v2 2* 70/70
Mean Mary 75
IronSight 1* 22/70
Keymaster 1* 70
Dual-gunner 1* 70/70 will promote into other
Muttzilla 1* 70
Tigrey 2* 1/70
Fat Head 2* 1/70
Scrapzilla 2* 1/70

Like I said I am currently fore going the event to get the 5 man formation, but want to see what you guys thought I should do with what i have.

U need to get a primarch at least n put it between um n ironsight

Hey man, first suggestion i would have would be to pull your leader and save the rest of your level ups while they still come pretty frequently for events. the free res can really help you push for your first lethal when you are ready.

Second, dokesh's advice is right on, find a cheap primarch (I currently have a pact 4* one on my trade list at 4 cans) and put him in between lancer and Ultra while you try to work trades to acquire more 1* ironsights and slowly build yourself a pe. Ironsight isnt very expensive (I know, I just built one myself) and on your list, tigrey may trade for 1 and the other stuff might be worth a few resources that you can pick up another.

Also, you can pick up a Wasp II-B for very cheap on the Ex. Find one with good stats and the buff is really, really helpful. Especially if you set it next to a Tigrey. you can get one for 1 res/a handful of crystals.

ok I got a Primarch, at level 1, the Ironsite was at 2 BEs and I didnt want to drop em. so I will start leveling up those guys. should I keep the Tigrey?

It's your call it is a decent fam, and the price on them has been going up recently as people are starting to use them to chain buffs (Tigreys skill increases wisdom, which is the stat that ability buffs are based off of. So putting one next to primarch, for instance, when Tigrey buffs, primarchs buff will be significantly more powerful.)

But one of the tough things about this game is the fact that you can't keep everything good that you get, gotta make trades sometimes. So it's your call on the tigrey, and pretty much all the rest of the advice on the forum as well. It's all just our opinions, though some of those opinions may be more valid and helpful than others

My advice to you is to trade off the following mercs for Ammo Cans, Power Shots, Brain Eaters, Crystals and Emergency Repair Kits (look at the history for each merc before trading to determine its worth):

Horde Wall v2 4* 99
MaxSec Psycho v2 4* 70/70
Crdnl Lieu v2 2* 70/70
Dual-gunner 1* 70/70 will promote into other
Muttzilla 1* 70
Fat Head 2* 1/70
Scrapzilla 2* 1/70

Due to the low value of each of these mercs, you'll likely just get crystals and ERKs, but you might get someone to give you a can or shot for one or two of them. Either way its better than them sitting in your inventory doing nothing. It will also help you focus on the mercs you have that are actually worth using.

Put the Primarchs & Tigreys in slots 2 or 4 so they can augment mercs on each side. For WIS squads use Tigreys, for ATK squads use Primarchs. In addition to Ironsights, look at Bubbles for ATK lineups as their double hits are significant when they proc. Also, evolving your Lancer to v4 will give him more punch.

I've got some Ironsights, Bubbles, Tigreys, Lancers, and Keymasters, if interested.

Yeah sorry I have to farm some supplies as I don't currently have much of anything now. Leveling up my Primach now. So hard to not do the event LOL

Hey dude, I just had an idea for you. This event rather than giving us a 1* rare for the point reward they gave us a 3*epic. For a lot of people this is going to be kind of worthless, because they will be way more interested in making PE ones, or selling the rares outright since it's a mediocre event rare. But that mans for probably 1 res each you could pick up those event 3* and turn em into a line of reasonably powerful 4*, that will be rather resilient because of the large heal + hot of the new merc.

Also, I think down the line the investment will be a solid one, and you will probably at least make back any resources you spend building them. I'd suggest picking up 2, and running the "W" formation with healer-healer-ultramutant-fat head-lancer. I think it would be a DRAMATIC improvement for you.

Hiya dude and welcome, I see in your list you have ep1 power lancer, if it will help you along you can have one of my mercs! Also a power lancer ep1 but was made from r1-r1-r2. So some ok stats, send me a pm if you want it with the merc you can put on the X make sure its leveled in xp or skill so I can make sure its for you!
