Canis Stats

Just picked up a Canis Bulwark v2 on the exchange and the stats are confusing me.

Based on what the wiki shows some of my stats are higher than evolved but some are lower. I'm not really sure how this would be possible so I'm wondering if the wiki is wrong. Really it doesn't matter but I'm just trying to figure out how the one I picked up compares to others. The stats are below.

Wiki: 14172, 12306, 15457, 10645, 11301
Mine:14194, 12392, 15437, 10787, 11421

Can anyone confirm the stats of a PE and POPE?

He has put up a weird amount of crystals on some of the stats, that's all. ( I think. )

That's what I thought at first too. But why would the Defense be lower on mine? Unless maybe they weren't all fully leveled but also had weird crystal amounts?

I had a pope canis before and i think the def on it was 16,007 or sonething like that

it is probably a 6xR1 or 7xR1 with some added crystals. that is why the stats are lower than wiki.

On the wiki does "evolved" include crystals? I always thought "evolved" meant PE + crystals. So 8xR1 plus 50 crystals.

to figure out how much your crystals will add to your merc using wiki just add the following to the evolved stats:

400cc add 666 (POPE)
200cc add 650
100cc add 550
50cc adds 500

my squad is completly usual non-lethal squad. you think more then PE makes even sense? I dont see the rank ups with these 50-166 extra on each ATT.
For a high end lethal squad i see the benefit as its this small margin that lets you attack first and survive this one more hit (especially in pvp), but i just dont see the benefit for the muggles down here in E-land.

I may not be right but with stats being off by 20(s) maybe they used credit crystals?

I disagree with your statement about crystallizing E squads...My whole squad is all epic (minus Daddy v2 that I traded for, but even then...I almost consider him an E because he's not very strong unless double blue bot buffed).

It helps by a lot in PVP and Raid to have the extra 500-666 stats. Lets you survive longer and hit harder/faster.

The normal 500 PE crystal boost is absolutely necessary, but the additional 50-166 ATT you get for 50-350 more crystals - these are the crystals i am wondering about.

Hey man it wasn't long ago that I wondered where people were getting all these epics while running an all r etai squad in PvP lmao. Back when dynaman was popular, I even sold a r2 dynaman once for 7 ac and 8 ps lmao, my point is tho thru time and effort ull get where you want to be

haha I remember when my "hardcore awesome" squad was 2 OPE dynaman, 1 OPE Fug Bug Jowel (still have this baby, 13k wis/str ftw! haha), OPE Crdnl Elite, and OPE Sr. Apostate.

I ran that squad from when I started until CXB event, when I picked up 2 OPE blues and 2 OPE blacks.

I ran that same fug for a while actually because of the infect all lol

im not complaing about my squad at all. they are sure good enough for an under 200 rank in all events easily.
im just wondering if i should start collecting 200-400 crystals for my next 8in1 (whatever it will be... hoping for nalac or canis :D), or if the 50c will be enought in my spot atm.
even the (P)OPE epics wont stand a chance against the L-squads. so, should i collect them (will take at least 2-3 months to get the 400c) and also wait that time, before i can evolve the R*1s, or just go for the PE and start the POPE race some later, when its no problem to get under 100 with my squad.

If you buff your squad right, there is no reason why an all Epic squad can't beat all Lethal squads in this game. some Ls are are awesome and some are just two skilled Epic with L logo. best bang for your buck will be using 200 crystals on a good merc. or in some cases like the tigrey where the only useful stat is his Wis so I would drop 80 wis crystals and may be just 10 of each of the other kinds to the final evo.

It depends on the Merc and how much it is worth.

If you look at something like a buzzard, they go for around 13 res in PE form. It's probably borderline whether you would put 50 or 200 crystals in it (I made a 8/50c version and am thinking about making a 8/200c version but probably not). Something like canis which is worth maybe around 50 res is definitely worth making a 8/200c version of. Same goes for nalac. Then you go to something like a Lilith which is worth maybe 100 res where anything less than a 8/200 is pretty much a mistake and you seriously start thinking about putting 400 crystals into it.

That's just the way I think about it when trying to work out how many crystals into something. I don't have a huge amount of crystals so I don't want to overcapitalise with putting crystals into mercs that I build.

Very few mercs are with 400 crystals for anything more than boredom. Not many are worth 200. Agility hitters typically fill the vast majority of this catagory. Almost any merc is a candidate for 50. Anything you use with any sort of regularity should have the base 50 thrown in. It's a huge boost.

I put 100c into anything that will end up on one of my squads. I've never done a build with more than 100c but it takes enough time to save up that many that I doubt I ever will.

Every PVP event I get enough crystals to do 1-2 POPE's because of the full crystal set reward at 15 and 30 killstreaks.

That is how you get crystals. Put a 30 streak capable team together (can be done with good epics), farm mags from a few raids/pvp events, and go for broke. I just sold a ton of crystals for BE, and even still from this last event I am at around 100 of each.

I think ill go the 100+c way (100 plus the main stat, either ATK,AGi, or WIS). But if i could get my hands on 8 nalacs or canis they sure would be worth the 400.

I haven't seen an R1 nalac in forever. Canis is also getting much and much less frequent. You are going to need to look for e4 versions of those mercs up for trade.

I have a pretty good Canis for sale fyi.....

I just saw 2 R1 nalacs in the past few days, but im completely broke as i spend everyhitng i had (mercs, ps and ac) to get my current team... then found this board and realized i could have gotten at least 100 ac more for my shit... i'm still crying myself to sleep sometimes

If u build it correctly

The L hit 2 times , this point caused a different in pvp event
But if ur team can survive then u can counter
Many time i lost to one hit killer such as cannon with giga buff
Or incin with giga buff
My L never proc and i m dead

Keep in mind , there are many strong ep , just pick the team u like to build and u will enjoy the game.

I got my first lethal with a team of Siren Maidens. nuke epics are the way to go.
