Q: 2 Skills

Hey guys, I have a question.
I've been running some Big Rig v2's lately ( which has a proc & buff skill ) but I haven't seen him really proc'ing on the first hit.
Is this normal or am I just having a whole bunch of black cats running around my appartement ?

I'm not sure if the rig ever procs on first hit. I'm pretty sure no as i have never seen it proc twice in one round

any dual-hit merc that has a buff type of skill will never proc during the fight, only pre-fight...after that it just auto-hits once and attempts to proc the second skill on the second hit.

Thanks, you had the answer I was waiting for. So basically a Marcus the Merc ( v2 ) can proc twice in one round because he has no buff.

Correct. The skill 1 and skill 2 coordinate with attack 1 and attack 2 in battle. So Hanzo will ALWAYS proc relentless first and never Weapon Prep, and his second attack with ALWAYS proc Weapon Prep and never Relentless Assault. And if a buff Occupies a skill slot, that slot will always be an auto attack.

I know you have a couple hanzos, but I could have sworn that my v1 would proc weapon prep first against raid bosses, and seemed to get caught in a loop. It seemed like it wouldn't do relentless assault or auto attack, that's why I tradd d him.

The Loop hanzo can get in that makes him a liability for raid is actually reversed- since his SECOND attack is a two stage attack and his FIRST attack can proc relentless, procing weapon prep in your second chance means that your next attack - the first of the next round where relentless SHOULD have a chance of proccing - will instead proc the damage from weapon prep. Then hanzo will perform his second attack as normal, with a chance of proccing weapon prep again, which if it occurs could put you in the loop where all that is allowed to proc is weapon prep over and over because he effectively skips his first round attack.

If Dakota changed it so each round had a potential chance of proccing either skills, Hanzo would be so unbelievable bad ass. Or even if they switched it so that weapon prep was his FIRST round move (essentially making him like that mounted rare in BB that had the 2 round attack but got 2 attacks so it essentially allowed him to perform it in one turn).

That said, I still love my Hanzos and cant think of a single L outside of fista/HC/Noc that I would trade him for.
