Maturing your mercs

Gang,

With all the steps involved in creating a "POPE" I was wondering if you've seen any efficiencies among the follow possible routes:

A - Max merc's proc Level first
(costs less to get a merc to Level 20 proc when the merc is Level 1)

B - Max merc's experience Level first
(costs less to get a merc to Level 20 proc after the merc's experience Level is max)

C - Take the merc through the experience leveling gauntlet and add to the merc's proc Level as fusion chum becomes available)

D - Crap shoot - no telling what I'll get when I run the fusion.

My guess, from the "adjustments" Dakota and the developers keep doing to the fundamentals of the "procs" is D (crap shoot)

Thoughts? Opinions? Experiences?

theres a sticky re: evolution and crystalling i think...

my practice has been to max proc level on lowest exp lvl mercs first...that way if u get a lvl70 fully crystalled, for example, u can evolve lower level with lvl70 and be fully proc ready....however, its harder to level exp with increasing rarity, ie epic3 (max lvl99) will take longer than rare2 (max level 70)...so its always better to max exp lvl (to 70) before evolving.

Gotcha - focus on proc level anything you want to "mature" in an ideal fashion.

Filling holes, just grab a merc and swap out later.
