How about that Lurker!

So there are many sold for 1-2 res. then an epic4 pops up in exchange with crazy stats and prices soar. Reaching 8 res each . This merc looks really good on paper. 18k wis, 14.7k agi. 150x4 mod. So I'm going to go out on a limb and say this could be the best wis based epic merc in the game. Thoughts?

burnfrost has higher cumulative damage, but lower agi

You are forgetting siren and burnfrost.

Siren is pretty unique in what she can do, but it would make a pretty interesting comparison with Burnfrost. Significantly better overall stats but Burnfrost will still do a lot more damage on proc and doesn't necessarily need to be buffed.

Could it be the first merc who survives Siren's shot? Huge WIS and HP give a good chance. At least against non-perfect evolved Siren.

I dunno, maybe. Maybe not. I've had mordeo-buffed high-end pvp teams still die in a single shot to the all-powerful siren.

No, but WIS damage skills are still significantly affected by DEF of the target.

And i always thought WIS was more important attribute for defense vs WIS based skills. Any1 knows the real math? ;-)

Mercs double buffed by niobe/mordeo survive siren nuke

Not from my POPE siren. I think I have only seen one merc live through that, and it was a hellcat/mordeo daisy chained canis. and even then it was a sliver, a tiny tiny sliver.

That's exact team I use to run was canis-mord-hc-mord-canis and I survived sirens proc many times. Would take about 70% of their health though

It may not matter though, if the Lurker procs. Then there's a good chance the siren will be dead before she can attack. The high agi of this merc is a thing of beauty

I haven't seen too many sirens on the first row for PVP squads lately. I mostly see them as a great second row surprise where speed doesn't matter anyway.

Yeah, they get pretty insane, but they more than make up for it. Nothing beats a siren. Won my first pvp lethal by scraping every res I had together and pouring it into making a few of these babies from scratch after the event. Next pvp I ran 2 of them (before back row fights) and won myself a shiny new Vibriss haha.

So you guys are saying that the lurker is better than lucion too?

Also, with siren hiding in the back row, it doesn't matter how fast the lurker is, siren still rules the roost.

Yea, I think Lurker IS better than lucion. Faster makes it better imo. Lurker will go first so if it procs then fight is over. Same with siren really. Not talking about reserves.talking about front row.

He works just fine. Have one in the raid squad and find his ability really useful. His hits are approx as they should be so no bugs like Lilith, Bullestinger etc...

Lurkers dropped during event only bc ppl needed more cans. Got desperate I suppose

Lurker is one of the best merc for tower. Combination of high stats (no need for buffers) with stun ability and he is faster then anything he meets there.

Pretty sure you don't need much speed for lvl 10. 11671 AGI is enough from my experience.

got to lurkers, works great, with the stun you get an extra turn, witch can save you some erk`s ; )

Stats are usually 8 x r1 there so roughly add 666 for 400 crystals. But talking about stats ... unfortunately didn't get to build a Sentinal myself. Does someone know his wis with 400 crystals?

It was 17999 for a 8/200, so roughly 18015 for a POPE.

Defo loving the lurker for tower, and damn the freeze is handy on the floor boss!
