REVISITED: PostSubject: Hacked Telepaths and Hellcats!!!!!

I have a theory to explain the mysterious appearance of unaccounted for Mercs to the pool...

I have witnessed this glitch/anomoly in FF and GIJoe...

If the network connection is lost while server is processing a transaction, and the 'retry' button pops up, upon reconnect, an error message appears that says the trade is no longer available...The desired merc from X will appear in your cache, AND the Merc you sold will still be in inventory...

Has anyone else seen this? Comments welcome...

that's hell of a glitch if it's true, but the ones on the exchange are definitely hacked by other means, how can there still be a lv39 Odin out there. also uncrystaled HC and Ghetto Fista...there are more like this.

The use of programs such as fiddler is the real way this hacking is possible. Fiddler is the most likely because it is free and easy to use. Phone traffic is routed through a pc, intercepted and modified. This can be used to modify coins, stats, proc rates, essentially anything if you are skilled enough.

Fortunately the population is small enough here as opposed to BB or Joes that using a program like that to do anything worth while will instantly raise suspicion. Wouldn't be the first time an account vanished off the top 10 of the leader board 2 days into an event.

Usually the glitch is caused cuz the client and server are not synced. Restarting the game will restore the game to it's proper state. And the card you see is only dummy for that while.

Traffic manipulation is controlled by hashchecks in server and client. Once you change the request or response the hash does not match with the original. BB secured this recently and FF probably have done the same thing. So. . .
