Looks like it dunno how but my account is cleared out. Really not sure if I'm gonna keep playing our what, lost a lot of good fams and not sure if I feel like trying to build back.

Where your email/game/forum passwords and usernames similar?

Did you share your account name/password with anyone? Including email or pm on this forum

What email service do you use?

Did you click any suspect links? Keyloggers? Fishing?

Bluestacks?

Paypal transactions with anyone?

Password on here was same, username very different.
Share nothing, no PayPal.
Hotmail( like a thug)
No links, only get on through phone and never used blue stacks.

There has been a string of hacking over on the BB forums

I haven't noticed any consistent pattern but it seems that Mobage security is somehow seriously lacking

I log in using Facebook, so no one can hack me unless they also know my FB, which would be doubly troublesome. Then again, maybe they have some way of circumventing the whole login process, which would be the worst case scenario.

FYI - avoid hotmail like it's the clap.

Those accounts get hacked all the time, and if you're sharing a game password with your hotmail account then getting hacked isn't a matter of IF but WHEN.

Mobage account security is seriously at risk

Yet another reason why money trades are discouraged. It invites criminal activity.

Reading that thread has given me an idea for an exclusive trading forum where everyone in it has to be specially invited and is a long established and trusted player.

I kind of think this forum should take a stance against RMT altogether. Or at the very least remove RMT form the eyes of the public in a private environment as you suggested
